Dear fellow Vernians,

According to the biography written by Jean Jules-Verne,
Verne returned earlier than originally intended because
of the pending birth of his son (but there are no further
sources quoted) -- bottom passage of page 91 and page 92:

"Jules avait accepté avec joie l'offre du frère d'Hignard
de faire une traversée de six semaines sur un de ses cargos
se rendant en Norvège et en Scandinavie; les deux amis
s'étaient embarqués dès le 15 juin; après avoir laissé Hignard
au Danemark, cultiver son inspiration en recherchant les
traces d'Hamlet, sujet d'une opéra qu'il composait, il dut
écourter son voyage; la naissance qui s'annonçait prochaine
l'obligea à regagner Paris... "

Yet another date stone for the chronological puzzle (15th of June)...
