Dear friends!

I have tried to bring a question on this board about
the un-present translations of Jules Verne in Sweden
by the period of 1874-70. After "Fem veckor i
luftballong", we had a long interuption to the next
book by Jules Verne.

I have tried to find information from the first
swedish publisher, Bonniers bokförlag, without any
succes. In fact - they don't know anything at all
about this first novel.

I belive the situation could be the same in other
countries. I will ask you, dear members, about dates
of the earliest editions of Jules Verne in your
countries. I will try to find if the "error" is here
in Sweden, for an example that a publisher have bought
the rights but failed to publish, or if it was because
the french publisher, Pierre-Jules Hetzel.

Sadly, I don't read french, so I have no possibilites
to do this research by myself. But I hope my question
is interesting enough to get some attention here.
Maybe someone have written anything about this in the
correspondence between Jules Verne and Pierre-Jules
Hetzel.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Peter Harold
