A Plunge into Space was written by Robert Cromie
(1856-1907)
Jules Verne wrote the introduction (I think the only introduction he did for an English book) and the book is dedicated to Jules Verne by Robert Cromie
Hyperion reprinted the 2nd edition of this book in 1976.
Their title page indicates the 2nd edition came out in 1891 and was published by Frederick Warne and Co. London and New York

The intro starts:
"to my english readers,
especially to those who have followed my on my far journeys..."

Can anyone identify A Plunge into Space, foreword by Robert Cromie? Date,
publisher, usual Verne title etc? A Fredonia Book.
