Thanks Richard!

So it would be interesting who and how much people might be interested in this model as coulour - copie (xerox as in english said...). It will be on thin paper only, but could be strenghened by everyone itself. So if there are enough interested I might be going to do the job...

  Dear Bernhard,

I would not worry about the copyrights as nobody cared about such triffles in the former Czechoslovakia. And as I already wrote, the current publisher ALBATROSS stopped issuing modelling kits 15 years ago and (that is why) this company would not mind your copies at all (in fact they know nearly nothing about their activities before 1989 as they told me during our phone conversation).

On the other hand you are right, such handmade colour products could be quite expensive...

  Bye, R.

The Datas given from Richard are correct. The model was issued first impression in 1982, second in 1987. I am still keeping the full, untouched model kit at home. Teoretically I can make colour - copies of it for interested ones, but I don`t know how expensive this might be and what is with the copie - rights...
    Regards

    Bernhard

      Dear Friends,

The Czech publishing house "ALBATROS" (whose name coincides with the ship name "ALBATROSS") used to issue juvenile books in the former Czechoslovakia /and they still keep doing so in the Czech Republic/. In the past however, once in a while, the above mentioned publisher eked out a living by issuing and selling paper modelling kits and other educational toys. I have just discussed the current situation with the company ALBATROS and found out that there is no chance to buy any modelling kits made by the company ALBATROS before 1989 (I am sorry).

      Bye,

      Richard Zapletal
