This discussion is part of the game, and I'm glad you ask this question. I
CC my reply to the forum.

I can see your point, but I'm afraid I have to disagree. The rain itself
would have been a correct answer, but "flood" is not a meteorological
phenomenon, in my opinion. A flood can also be caused by melting of snow,
or breaking of a dam, or many other reasons that are not necessarily
meteorological. The fact that the floods in Grant and Cap. de 15 Ans are
caused by rainfall doesn't make flood in general a correct answer.
