You might be thinking of my article discussing the relationship between
Robur and the Lou Senarens Frank Reade dime novels. I did write an article
about Verne and the 19th century UFO flap, but it was for a different
publication.

(And, good heavens!, you remember Dakkar! Holy cow!)
