North Amercian Jules Verne Society Meeting

Hello

As many of you know, the North American Jules Verne Society is holding its annual meeting in Washington, DC, from May 12-15, 2004, sponsered by the Library of Congress and in conjunction of the Alliance Francais of Washington, DC. Along with the many distinguished speakers, we will be able to get a personlized tour of the Library's Verne collection. Please check out our website, www.najvs.org, for the prograns being offered and how to sign up for the tours.

Many of us will be staying at the Best Western Key Bridge Hotel in Arlington, VA. The Best Western is about a 15 minute subway ride to the Library of Congress where most of the activities will be held. Room rates are $96/single and $106/double per night which is considered very reasonable in the Washington, DC, area. The Best Western has assured us that those rates will hold as long as there are rooms available. If you decide you would like to attend and stay at the Best Western, you can contact Cindy Sunde at Sunde~at~bestwesternkeybridge.com for a room reservation.
