Ombre is an excellent, small and independent editor. It provides
unabridged versions of the novels illustrated with all engravings of
the Hetzel editions (except, strangely, for "Le secret de Wilhem
Storitz") and the paper of better quality than LDP. Stanké is also a
good (Canadian) editor. It is publishing, in collaboration with the
Société Jules Verne, the versions "of origin" (i.e. unaltered by Michel
Verne) of the so called posthumous novels. It also published an
excellent biography of JV by Olivier Dumas (the head of Société Jules
Verne). The "versions d'origine" of the posthumous novels are also
published in France by L'Archipel Editeur and by Gallimard (Folio) in
paperback.
