The subject of a proceedings or such-like publication coming out of the NAJVS meetings was discussed at the 2003 meeting, and all agreed (if I may speak for the others, being a newcomer to this group) that it would be a very good idea: a record of the meetings, but also a way of raising Verne's profile in the US.
The paper presentations of this coming meeting of the NAJVS would seem to constitute an idea pool from which to draw a proceedings, or (perhaps better?) an edited volume, submitted for consideration to a US academic publisher? I propose that this be a topic for discussion at the "business" portions of the upcoming meeting...
