Hello!

I am not trying to feed the fire, and even if the
subject can feel a little bit worrying, I know that
the german goverment of 1940-ies (I prefer to blame
them and not the german people) banned the Begum-novel
as "non-german litterature".

But I have a question: Was Michel Vernes movie "Begums
500..." supposed to be used for political reasons in
the last years of the WW1? I know the war was over
when the movie was ready, but anyway..? I guess the
novel was still used as a horn in side of the germans.

Best regars to all of your Verne-fans over the
nations!

Peter
