Thank you all, Ariel, Richard and Bill!
Yes, of course the french book is the best source. My
french is very poor, but could my translation (from
english) be to any use for someone that with the speed
of his/her eyes could compare an original text with my
text, and let do the corrections? I guess it could
work in theory.
But maybe my text could be in use for some publisher
who wants to see what the story is about? The
publisher will then spend money for a proper
translation from french, and limit my effort to be a
lobbyist. Or should I prefer to sell me as a non-paid
swedish agent to Jules Verne?! :-)
Well, there have been 2 books out since '70-ies;
"Paris i det 20:e seklet" och "Den envise Keraban".
But there are many left, and I prefer to make a change
of the situation.
Best regards
Peter Harold
