The legend started from an error in the translation of 1 word in a
letter from JV to Hetzel .... The matter was largely debated at the
French "Société Jules Verne". Olivier Dumas highlighted the
mistranslation and showed in a convincing way which it was impossible
that JV and Aristide Briand could have homosexual relationship in his
last book "Voyage à travers JV". But such a rumour never stop ...
