your will find answers on all your questions on Gaston and the attentat of 1886 in my forthcoming biography (unfortunately in german), with 19 pages of historical documents. Sorry that I don't say more, it shall be a surprise. As for Marcel Verne, it's not sure if it was a real or an arranged suide. Recently, an article has been published in the Bulletin de la Societe Jules Verne no. 151 (2004).
