Hi Norm,

The registration procedure is a bit messy, to say the least. As far as I
understand it, there are two parties involved: the CIJV itself and a
company called Sagacom, who organize the practicalities.

Sometime early January, the secretary of the Dutch JV Society sent a list
of the Dutch participants to the CIJV, including all the names, phone
numbers, email addresse, etc. We also booked a hotel for all of us in
downtown Amiens. I asked the CIJV about the details of payment. No reply.

Then I received these registration forms that were also sent to the forum
by Myriam Waquet of Sagacom. The strange thing is that it was only sent to
me, not to the other Dutch participants. Here they asked again for all the
details already sent by our secretary, and there was the possibility to
state your accomodation preferences. The form also included payment
instructions. It had to be returned by 15 Feb.

I asked Ms Waquet for more details. Were we supposed to book our hotels
through them, which might be cheaper? Did everyone really have to send
back a form with all the details that had already been sent? No reply.

I sent a second mail, kindly asking for a reply. No reply.

So, if I haven't heard back next week, I'll give them a call. I'll be glad
to have all these procedures behind me and just enjoy the party and your
company in Amiens!

Cheers,
Garmt.
