Mondial Amiens 2005 and its payment...

The Mondial in Amiens seems to generate a lot of questions, mainly dealing
with how to pay the amount of 1008 euros for those who choose the first
program of 8 days.

For programs 2 and 3, the two shorter ones) there is no problem, you pay
your dues when you arrive in Amiens. For program 1, they ask to pay through
a "virement bancaire". In the US, it's something uncommon or sometimes
impossible. I asked Amiens aboiut the possibility to use credit cards,
which would make it much simpler. The Centre in Amiens accepts credit cards
and I don't see why this should be impossible, we could just tell them the
card number(s) over the phone. As always in France, things are more complex
as they look, because the Centre is NOT dealing with the enrollement, it's
a travel agency, named SAGACOM and they do not accept credit cards! I
called Myriam Waquet, who is in charge at SAGACOM to collect the
enrollments and she told me they will have a meeting this week with this
item on their agenda.

Anyway, what I plan for myself is to have the amount in cash with me and
pay them when I arrive in Amiens, Saturday March 19th...
