I recall reading that Dumas was extremely prolific, with some 1,200 titles.
The brief statement on the site above indicates that he collaborated with
others.

Some have indicated that he outlined stories which were written by known or
unknown collaborators and that the stories were published under his name. Can
someone here provide some details on this?

I would be interested in comparing this sort of enterprise with the Stratemeyer
Syndicate, the group responsible for the popular American juvenile series books
like Tom Swift, the Bobbsey Twins, the Hardy Boys, and Nancy Drew. Between
1905 and 1985, this group produced about 1,600 volumes.
