Hi,

Thanks for the previous information about Dumas which I have found very useful. Hopefully you may be able to clarify another point for me. It seems that some of the books have multiple English titles (i.e. the lower example below). I am confused by the titles listed immediatley below - do you know what all the plus signs mean. Are they alternative titles or are they additional works (short stories for example) included in the volume.

Any help gratefully received. Best wishes, Chris.

1) The Monsieur Jackal; The Carbonari; The Horrors of Paris, or, the flower of the Faubourg; The Mohicans of Paris + The Suicides + Monsieur Sarranti + Princess Regina + Salvator + Conrad de Valgeneuse + Rose-de-Noël + The Chief of Police + Madame de Rozan

2) The Lovely Lady Hamilton; The Beauty and the Glory; Love and Liberty; The Neapolitan Lovers

My favourite resource for Dumasian bibliography is
  http://www.cadytech.com/dumas/

Not sure if it's exhaustive, but it gives a lot of information, including
which novels are sequels of each other.

  Good luck!
  Garmt.
