Dear friends! For a short moment at my holiday, I had
the opportunity to read some mail. I was wondering
about what you said about this, Jan. I have no
recordings about when Verne changed his mind about the
Dreyfuss-question. In fact, I thought he always was
anti-Dreyfuss (and arguing with his son Michel who was
pro-Dreyfuss). Sadly, it haven't been possible to get
my hands on Volker's biography for me yet.
I hope my question will be answered, even if it will
be impossible be for me to read the replies in the
next three days. I am preparing a trip to Norway (Dal,
Gasuta-falls) to see what Jules Verne saw here in
1861, and I hope to get there next week.
Best regards
Peter Harold
