There is the excellent introduction of "The Mysterious Island" by
William Butcher (the translation is by Syd Kravitz of course)

To my opinion the better texts about the story of Tabor Island/Maria
Theres(i)a Reef (and also the better comments about L'île mysterieuse,
there are no equivalent in French).

Try also search in google using Maria Theresa Reef as keyword
