Dear Sir,

In 1857, Jules Verne wrote in collaboration with the composer Aristide Hignard an operetta in an act entitled "Monsieur de Chimpanzé". The booklet is preserved to us but the score untraceable, is undoubtedly lost.
4, November 5, and 6 2005, at the time of the Centenary Jules Verne,
the Opéra-Theatre of Metz will recreate this work with a new music of Jean Christophe Keck. An advisability of discovering an almost unknown facet of the great writer...
