Merci, Jean-Pierre and Gilles!

I think this is news that could make interest to us
who don't speak/read French. Is it correct that
research have made a clear view of M. Gaston Verne's
later years?

There have been a long debate about when Gaston died;
was it during the WW1 ocr in the '40-ies?

As Gilles pointed out, we have an image of Gaston as a
young man, we knew hem from the cruisings with
Saint-Michel and the shooting in Amiens. Through some
biographies (Jean-Jules Verne?) we also know that
Gaston Verne later got permission to leave his
hospital to visit Jules Verne. But then he is more or
less left out of picture.

As I understand from your 2 French message, we can now
change our imagination about Gaston Verne. Are there
any medical information about Gaston in this article,
published in Bulletin?

Best regards
Peter Harold
