Dear all, dear Volker,

Just to add that this new biography is really a milestone of
Verne reception in Germany. Congratulations. Specifically, I enjoyed
the little excursions into translation problems. It's a wonderful
complementary addition (Ergänzung!) to the first biography (published
by Rowolt). The latter is for the wide public, the recent one is
for readers with a more specific interest in Verne.

Just by the way, I don't know whether you realized that, the
"amazon.de" entries are not consistent and I was a bit puzzled
when ordering the new biography four weeks ago. It seems that
Andreas Fehrmann's comment on the Rororo biography is incorrectly
placed.

The same is true for your translation of Voyage au Centre de la Terre
where one finds comments on the new translation of "Autour de monde en
80 jours". The "Search Inside" function also leads "down the garden
path" to "80 jours".

May be you should try to contact amazon to improve that.
I could imagine that it is confusing for people...
