Thanks to Garmt for this information.

The stage adaptation of Around the World is associated with The Great
Reading Adventure (2006) (http://www.swreads.com/index.html), designed to
get a whole community reading and discussing a particular novel. The website
is very informative and nicely illustrated, but contains a fair number of
errors about Verne. The book chosen for The Great Reading Adventure is my
translation of the book, with scores of thousands of copies printed in a
special OUP edition, but without all the critical material.

Caldecott in his Bristol Old Vic debut.

 

 

 

Around The World in 80 Days marks Brunel 200. It is also The Great Reading
