Dear friends,
I consider "La Guimard" as a comedy, so it is ranged in my still unpublished "Catalogue of Jules Verne's works" which served some years ago in a provisional version as model for the reduced version of the bibliography arranged with my consent by Jean-Michel and Zvi.
But the mistake is not a heavy one for Jules Verne takes two real historical persons - the dancer Guimard and the painter David - as protagonists of the play and mixes continously the literary genres.
