You're absolutely right, this was an error on my part. In Dutch, we call
both nephew and cousin "neef", so sometimes I'm a bit sloppy in
distinguishing between the two. Sorry about that, it's corrected now.

He decided to sell it in 1885, the deal was closed early 1886. I don't
have the exact dates at hand, but they can be found in Philippe Valetoux'
book "Jules Verne en mer et contre tous".
