Hi all,

I received this message from Aurélia Koehler, who wants to sell a JV book
with illustrations by Jean Carzou. She asks 1000 euros. I must confess
that I had never heard of Carzou, and I have no idea if 1000 euros is a
reasonable price...

[CARZOU] – Verne (Jules) : De la Terre à la Lune



Paris-Bièvre, Pierre de Tartas, 1969 ; in-4°, in leaves, cloth chemise and matching slipcase. Text in French.
Illustrated by Jean Carzou with 25 original lithographs in colors. Limited printing of 313 numbered copies
signed by the artist and the editor. This copy number 26 of the 30 on Japon Nacré paper, with one following
of the 6 double plates and 6 single plates lithographs in colors on Japon Nacré, and one on Grand vélin
d’Arches. Complete. In perfect condition. Very rare.



In-4° en feuilles sous emboîtage, 25 lithographies en couleurs de Carzou, dont un titre, un frontispice et 11
hors-texte. Tirage à 313 exemplaires numérotés, signés par l’artiste, l’éditeur et un huissier de justice.
Celui-ci n° 26 des 30 sur Japon Nacré comportant une suite des Six doubles planches et des six hors-texte en
couleurs tirées sur Japon Nacré, et une suite sur grand vélin d’Arches. Exemplaire à l’état de neuf.
