Dear friends!

Well, Garmt's april fools took stop long before it
turned aout to something similar like "the secret
diaries of Adolf Hitler" and other profit purpoused
hoax. The only sad thing is that we didn't got to hear
the voice of Jules Verne. The other sad thing for me
is that my familys did another april fool that I fall
into without any suspicious feeling...

I did in earlier posting rised the question about
recordings of Jules Verne. After this april joke,
there seems not to be any recordings left, if any at
all was made. But is it known anything about the voice
of Jules Verne?

As I understand, he was a good singer in his youth. Is
there any description of his voice in any published
biographies or in letters? As I understand, his voice
was weaker in his old age, and that for medical
reasons. Anyone that could comment this topic, now
when we all are seriuos? :-)

Best regards
Peter Harold
