I congratulate Bill on a facinating piece of scholarship . Certainly for those of us that are interested to understand what Verne really meant to tell us , the publishing of the original manuscripts would be of tremendous importance.
One can only imagine the torture that Verne must have gone through, first to be subjected to the insensitive commercialization of his work by Hetzel, and then to be lauded by the masses for a work that wasn't really his.

  Dear Bill,

I have added your article, "Hidden Treasures", which appeared in the special Jules Verne issue of the SFS last year, to the scholarship section in my site, at <http://JV.Gilead.org.il/sfs/hiddentreasures.html>. I thank you again for making your work available on-line for the benefit of Jules Verne researchers and enthusiasts all over the Internet.

  Best,

  Zvi.
