The answer was in my previous message: please do read it again for an answer
to your question.

Friends...

According to "Le livre de poche" of Hachette, we've got:

Then, with regard to "From the Earth to the Moon", I think (I'm sure)
Bertrand made the calculations of the novel, so till now I don't understand
why Henri Garcet is mentioned by some sources like FAQ for example....I hope
having your assistance to my question...thanks

Sincerely

Cristian Tello

Hi all forum members,

I'm working in some paper dealing with JV's Moon novels. So far, I have came
across different information regarding the person who help Jules with all
the mathematical job for his novels From the Earth to the Moon and Around
the Moon. Some sources mention it was Bertrand. On the other hand there are
another ones that mention Garcet as the collaborator. So my question is:
Which one was Verne's collaborator? Garcet or Bertrand or both?, though
according to me, I think it was Bertrand buy I don't want to have any
doubts. I'll be waiting for your answers...and I'm attaching some of my
sources:

 <http://jv.gilead.org.il/FAQ/index.en.html#C14>
http://jv.gilead.org.il/FAQ/index.en.html#C14 (Henri Garcet)

he received from two mathematicians: his cousin Henri Garcet and Albert
Badoureau. The first did all the mathematical calculations for From the
Earth to the Moon and the latter helped in the writing of Topsy turvy.

(Bertrand)

Can anybody give me some light on this matter?

Best regards, Cristian Tello
