Well, if it's any help, might I submit this map of India showing where
Phileas went during the Indian section of his journey. Plus remember that in
"Around the World in Eighty Days" there does appear to be a bit of a dig at
the idea of cats being passed off as food in Bombay!

I am currently working on a project that is specific to Verne and India.
Specifically the First War for Independence/Sepoy Mutiny. Also wondering
about Verne's great interest in Bundelkhan. Why did two of his major
characters (3 if you count Nana Sahib, who was from close by) come from that
place (as opposed to say...Bombay)? We want to be as accurate to Verne and
Indian history as possible, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
