Dear friends!

I wonder if someone could tell me anything about the
style of PJ Stahl's writing (P-J Hetzel)? As he was
able to re-write parts of Jules Verne's novels, do he
in his own production owns similarites to the style of
Verne (i.e. travels, adventure, characters)?

To us non-rench readers, we are all in the blind of
understanding how large input Hetzel had to the works
of Verne. At least "20'000 Leagues..." is quite well
documented [in English], but other novels are not with
exception of the recent translations published during
later years. I think many of us [who doesn't read
French properly yet] would like to know more about the
orign of books like "5 weeks in a baloon", which -
according to many biographies is almost a complete
different text.

Well, if someone has anything to say about PJ
Stahl/P-J Hetzel as writer, I will be happy!

Best regards
Peter
