Dear Peter,

thank you for your demand. I will follow up this question, as I have heard some informations about german plays of "20 000 miles" - maybe you can give more detailed informations from your side? What time period exactly ?(1890 - o.k. - but month? day?) Played where in Germany?

This can help to find out more.

Best regards

Bernhard

Subject: German play titled "Nautilus" 1890?

Dear friends!

Perhaps our German members could give some information
about this topic? I read a theater review from the
year of 1890 in the Finnish newspaper
"Huvudstadsbladet", mentioning a (very decorative)
play titled "Nautilus", based on the more famous novel
by Jules Verne. Perhaps anyone of you know something
more about this play? Was there any important changes
of the plot? And was it a derivat from any French
production?

Best regards,
Peter Harold
