Voyage au centre de la Terre, Jules Verne
Michel Strogoff, Jules Verne
Le voyage de l'Endurance (Endurance: Shackelton's Incredible Voyage),
Sir Ernest Shackelton (not a novel but extrordinary)
Vers le pôle (an abredgied version in French of the account of the
Nansen and Fram journeys), Fridtjof Nansen (not a novel but
extrordinary)
