Dear Volker,

Sorry the biography didn't sell well. I think we should try to prevent this
work from sinking into copyright obscurity like the early works of Walter
Miller.

If it can be worked out I am sure Vernians could produce an English
translation which could be published privately on Lulu. If we had 20 or so
volunteers
each doing 30 pages that would get the work done. With machine translation
assistance the project would not be too onerous.

Well not a perfect translation, but here today is better than never
tomorrow.

Who holds the translation rights by the way? I might assume further we
could store an "unofficial" translation on a club website that was
accessible only to members, so as to avoid "publishing" a la "Mysterious
Island".? and not to show up on Google!.
