Verniana: Call for Papers

Dear Friends,


December is here, and it is a good time for me to ask you to submit
articles for publishing in Volume 1 (2008) of Verniana. The easiest way
to do it is to go to Verniana's home page, at
http://JV.Gilead.org.il/studies/, to register as an author, and to start
the submission process. If you are interested but have difficulties with
the process, please write to me privately and let me know. After you
upload your submission, I'll make sure it will get the fairest
blind-review you can get (The reviewer is not blind, of course. He

will just receive your submission with your name deleted). You can
submit articles written with your favorite word processor. My preference
is OpenOffice, and if you use it, you can also use my "Verniana Author
Guideline" ODT file as a template. But, you can use other word
processors, and I'll convert your submission to ODT.


We have many people registered as readers, which is of course not
obligatory, but it is helpful for me to see how large is the readership,
and will enable me to send the readers mail messages relevant to them,
and not to the complete forum. I am also asking you to register as
authors, if you feel that you would like to submit an article some day,
so I'll get a feeling on the authorship potential. Finally, if you feel
you could help me as a reviewer, please also register as such, and tell
me about your reviewing interests. Of course, everything is done in the
web site.
