Dear Friends,


I have been a little worse than I expected, and a day after sending you
the message below, on December 14, exactly for my 58th birthday, I have
been hospitalized for 10 days. Since yesterday, I am back at home,
feeling better, and I hope that few days rest at home will make me as
good as new. I wish to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry
Christmas and a very happy New Year 2008. I also want to remind you that
in 8 February we'll celebrate the 180th birthday of Jules Verne, and on
this occasion I would like to have the festive start of publication of
Verniana. I encourage you all to submit articles to Verniana. For
example, if you published articles in your national Jules Verne society
newsletter, or gave a talk in a meeting, you may submit an expended
version to Verniana (we have no size limit, no limit on illustrations,
etc.), and add a note where the original article/original talk appeared.
It will be a huge benefit to the whole Vernian community worldwide.
