I can't think of a more appropriate day for Robert to leave us ... he was
truly a personification of St. Nick, of bountiful energy, generosity, and
spirit. I'm so glad fate gave me the opportunity to meet him in the
centennial year; he was the first friend-from-correspondence I finally met
face-to-face at the Mondial in Amiens.
