Dear friends!
In the autmobile historical French magazine "Gazoline"
is an interesting article about Amédée Bollée. In
cooperation with his brothers, he built several steam
operating vehicles in the 19th C. In fact, there is a
close similarity to the concept of MPV's and "family
wagons"...
;-)
The text is in French, but with a little help of
Bablefish there would be some useful information for
the rest of the world that don't read French. And
there is also several wonderful photos!

Perhaps there is someone in this Forum that know a
little bit more about how the novel took shape under
the pen by Jules Verne? Any known connection to
Bollée?
Best regards,
Peter Harold
