A bicycle (and even a motorcycle) is also mentionned in
"La Chasse au météore" (both versions).

Interestingly, the topic of bicycles in JV's novels was just
discussed yesterday in the French JV forum. Volker commented
that apparently, JV disliked bicycles, as is revealed by the minutes
of Amiens town council.
