Dear All,
To the many touching tributes to Zvi's humanity and devotion to Verne
studies, expressed in his Forum, I would like to just add my own, from the
other end of the Asian landmass. Although I never had the pleasure of
meeting Zvi in the flesh, I always appreciated our friendship, stretching
over a decade. Only 4 days ago, with his invariable efficiency and good
humour, we were working together on details of a contribution (ironically,
concerning the death of Verne's father) to his website, set up to
commemorate his son, Gilead -- and planning further projects together.
His tragically early death is an irreparable loss.
