Dear friends,

These past few days have been like a bad dream, except that it wasn't a
dream, but harsh reality. We're going to have to carry on without Zvi, a
terrible loss. It's only starting to sink in now.

Like Lionel, I feel weird starting a new topic on the JVF, as if nothing
happened. But after all, discussing JV what Zvi created this form for, so
here goes.

On the website of the Dutch JV Society, our archivist posted a couple of
articles in the series "From the archive". I think they may be of interest
to an international audience, especially the piece about early cinema.
