Yes it is nice that so many Verne's books have been re-translated in modern
versions. Not so nice is to learn that translations only a few years old
such as Baldick's AWED are now collector's items available only through
library discards. Will we soon have to plan for new translations every 25
years as the old ones get re-cycled?
