Hi Harry,

I can only offer you the abbreviated version on imdb.com at

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1056026/usercomments?start=20

(look down the page) of the longer review I published in Extraordinary Voyages and Mundo Verne.  I won't potentially spoil the film for those who want to try the film on their own by saying more here!

One tip--wikipedia is almost useless as a film reference.  Whatever anyone contributes in the way of summary or analysis, someone else comes along and rips out.  I've seen this happen on many topics.  At least the comments in imdb are honest, unfiltered opinions, and can't be changed by a self-appointed editorial voice.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/30,000_Leagues_Under_the_Sea is being shown on the Zone Horror channel over the next few days in the UK. Should I watch it (or stick to the Jules Verne films on Saturday on TCM who are showing Captain Nemo and the Underwater City (1969), From the Earth to the Moon (1958))?
