Hello everybody. Over the years I never understood why nobody talks about the Russian version of Mysterious Island the only accurate one .I watched it in Bucharest in 1961 and it took me 15 years to get it .Finally I got it from e-bay for $40 (on DVD not VSH) where I made an offer and I got it from Russia.This link shows the pain they took(just imagine the german invasion begun) to reproduce every picture from the book(http://www.sukip.com/Movies/Mysterious_Island_1941_film).At your disposal with other information.Sincerly yours Emil

PS. I don't know but if the movie is now public domain I can share it with the jvf members, or post it to give everybody the chance to see a real Jules Verne reproduction.
