Further to the photos posted by Harry...the fourth view of Crombie Point (NT 033840) shows to the right of centre, a white building with two chimneys and an external staircase. This in fact is the Black Anchor Inn where Verne and Hignard were taken by the Reverend Mr Smith for a whisky and to get dry after the ordeal of landing at Crombie Point in pouring rain. It is now a renovated private residence.The ruin to the left was a blacksmith at the time of Verne's visit.
