With just 15 days until Christmas, the Fogg household has been a hive
of Christmas card writing, especially with us wishing Christmas cheer
to such far flung places as India, the United States and a little
nearer to home London. However, one card could prove a slight problem
to post. It was from William and was addressed to the Doctor. However,
that problem was solved an hour or so later when Passepartout came
barging into the living room puffing and panting.

"How many times have I told you?" I said with a slight chuckle, "we
know that you don't often beat William in a weightlifting session, but
there is no need to announce it to the world!" and I burst out
laughing. Passepartout, by response, took out a copy of that day's
Times and whilst catching his breath thumbed through it and then read

"To Lord Fogg, Lady Fogg, Sir William and Sir Passepartout. I would be
most delighted to spend Christmas with you. I shall meet you outside
the Reform Club as agreed on December 23rd 1885. Yours, the Doctor"

So it looks as if we shall have another guest for Christmas and would
you believe it, it has just started to snow. I think there's a very
good chance of snow on Christmas Day for the first time since Dickens
died. Now that's what I call a proper Christmas!
