When I woke up this morning and saw the view I knew exactly what
today's agenda was going to be. Christmas Decorations both inside and
out!

After a hearty and extremly warm breakfast, we all donned our warm
coats and set about finding a suitable tree to decorate outside. It
took us most of the morning, but we eventually found one (by which time
lunch was being served). Searching through the decorations I have kept
over the last 50 years, we found a collection of candles and William
found a star to place on the top and so we started to decorate the
tree. Placing the star on top was a little difficult, but when you have
a strong manservant and an immensely strong 11 year old carrying you
then placing a star on the top of the tree is child's play. And I think
it looks marvellous. Sorry, my dear? Oh, yes, please light the candles

And with that done we all trudged back indoors (with the snow starting
to fall again) and congratulated ourselves on a day's decorating well
done.Next job is to tackle the main hallway and living rooms.
