We have a new member of the Fogg household to introduce to you today
and it's a member that we would never have found if William had not
been taken by a new sport the Doctor told us about today.

Just after lunch, myself and William were reading the paper when I came
across a report stating that the American ambassdor to Britain in an
effort to create closer links between Britain and the United States was
starting an American Football team in Britain and was looking for
people to take part. This of course prompted the natural question
of "What's American Football?" from William. Not a question to ask when
the Doctor is within earshot. Within the space of an hour, myself and
William had been whisked forwards to 2009, watched an American Football
game between the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Jets and arrived
back at Westwood Hall. As we left the TARDIS, the Doctor took a rugby
shaped ball and shouted "Go long, William" and threw the ball out of
the TARDIS. William caught it very deftly but then tripped over a root
and slid into an abandoned shed. Naturally enough we were concerned for
his safety, but we need not have worried as he walked out completely
unscatched and was carrying a small kitten who looked very cold indeed.
I looked around the shed (with the help of the Doctor's screwdriver
which produced a light) but could not see any sign of a mother cat. It
was decided that William should adopt the cat and try and get it warm.

And I have to say that the kitten has taken to William like a duck to
water. Already the kitten has jumped on his shoulders and been given a
guided tour of the hall and is now sitting in front of a roaring fire
purring her little head off (and doesn't she just look adorable!)

All we now is a name I say. Any suggestions? What's that Doctor? You
used to have a cat called Wolsely after the Cardinal? That sounds an
interesting type of name. But I'm not sure it would be suitable for a
female kitten. Ah, I've had an idea, Doctor. When this diary gets
published whenever you decide to place it on the interweb, sorry
internet, my apolgies, people could reply as to what name the kitten
should be called. You can then come back here and tell us what name to
call it? Agreed. Agreed!
