As regards Foundling Mick, it contains an introduction and chronology by
myself (freely available on http://www.ibiblio.org/julesverne/articles.htm)
and an article on the translation by Kieran O'Driscoll, which is
unfortunately the 19th C. one, which cuts about a third of the novel.

 

If no translator is listed on the cover or on Amazon, one must think the
worst. For Keraban, for example, the publisher is Fredonia, who usually just
reprint early translations, rarely up to scratch.
