Although Verne himself is not credited as the author (!), it's very nicely
done, as it's faithful to the letter and the spirit of the original.

It's good to hear from you, David. Yesterday afternoon, I attended the same
play as you did, but in Greensboro.

you will see the text of the play. It's everywhere in the US. There is also
the list of places where it's on stage. It's the same play we plan to see in
Columbia (MD) at our Annual Meeting.

I have in mind to write a review for Verniana. I would love to add your name
to the review, with your (if possible) detailed comments about the play.
When did you attend the play (day and time)? If you could send me a copy of
the program (a scan in colors of the pages dealing with the play, not the
ads, of course) that would help me too. And... if you have the newspaper
reviews of the play, that would be tremendous!

I enjoyed it very much. The text cleverly respects the itinerary and the
names of the novel, letting enough freedom for the director to use as much
symbols for the trains, ships, elephants, etc. as he(or she) will.

And the Triad Stage of Greensboro discovered me and asked me to speak after
the play. It was a very goos and interesting Q&A session, where I could
promote the good translations of JV.
